Jabil to hire almost 4000 in Russia

evertiq reported yesterday that EMS-provider Jabil will start producing in Tver, Russia.

EMSThe company initially plans to employ 300 people and expand to 1000 employees by the end of 2010. However, Jabil might employ up to 4000 employees in Russia when the production is up and running. Jabil will invest approximately $ 100 million in the Tver facility in Russia.

how jabil can produce LCD TV for Sony without valid certificate ISO 9001:2008 for Tver site and "Green Partner"?????? Sony's partner without GP certificate? It's impossible or this is double standards

I second the first comment regarding the $100mln investment. This number is what authorities and media want hear. They could announce $1Bln as well.
Besides, now Jabil will operate in a rented warehouse facility. Where exactly all the investment is going to? Gilt truck gates?
