Smartrac reported sales growth of 37 percent from € 59.1 million in H1 2009 to € 80.8 million in H1 2010.
ComponentsEbitda increased by 48 percent from € 6.6 million to € 9.8 million. However, H1 Ebitda margin of 12 percent compared to 11 percent a year ago did not conform to Smartrac's expectations and possibilities. Profit for the period amounted to € 5.8 million compared to €1.8 million a year ago.
The RFID industry showed dynamic growth in the first six month of 2010 and Smartrac was not only able
to benefit from the momentum but even exceeded market dynamics.
