Centum Electronics to build new facility
India based EMS provider Centum Electronics plans to build a second facility as demand is increasing.
EMSThe demand within the industrial and telecommunication sectors are increasing. The company, which is 10% owned by Flextronics, plans to invest approximately $5 million to capacity increase. The company also plans to hire 500 engineers and technicians. The new plant will be build in the Karnatake state, India.
Approximately 60% of the revenue come from Europe and USA last year, reports Businessweek. Companies customers are Ericsson, Alcatel-Lucent and others.
