Fujitsu restarts production at 2 more facilities

The company has restarted partial production at the front-end semiconductor manufacturing facilities that had been affected by the earthquake on March 11, 2011.

Fujitsu Semiconductor Limited (FSL) - Aizu-Wakamatsu plant and Fujitsu Semiconductor Technology (FSET) (both located in Fukushima Prefecture) started partial production as of March 28, 2011. Fujitsu Integrated Microtechnology Ltd. (FIM) - Miyagi plant already started operations partially on March 23, 2011. Fujitsu Isotec Limited (FIT) has also resumed partial (and full) operation. [PC servers] Resumed operations as of March 23, 2011. Fully operational at 100% production capacity as of March 28, 2011. / [Desktop PCs] One part of the production process has resumed operations at Shimane Fujitsu Limited (Shimane Prefecture Hikawa-gun) as of March 23, 2011.
