Bronson, who was also elected to the company's board, most recently served as president and director of FormFactor Inc., which makes wafer probe cards used to test chips. Bronson has earlier also served as chief financial officer of chip maker Applied Materials Inc.

Separately, Sanmina-SCI appointed Joseph G. Licata Jr. to the company's board as an independent director.
