EIPC-EBFRIP Workshop: Does the PCB Industry need halogen-free laminates and prepregs?
RoHS revision proposal: threats & implications for the printed circuit board and assembly industries
Programme:
- Session 1: Actual status of the RoHS directive of flame retardants for the electronic industry.
- Session 2: How do existing flame retardants meet technical & legal requirements.
- Session 3: Processing of new materials with halogen-free laminates & prepregs.
- Session 4: Panel discussion; European future of flame retardants.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the implications and threats of the RoHS recast for the printed circuit board sector. Information will be given about different flame retardant technologies for laminates and prepregs for printed circuit boards and technical and process relevant aspects associated with these technologies.
The workshop will give participants an understanding of the decision-making process and advice on how to best protect the interests of your sector and engage with decision-makers.
